Student Government
During my time at American River College I was recruited into Student Government. My first term I served as a Representative (Senator) later I served as the Director of Finance and Student Body President. During my time in office I rewrote and passed new bylaws, fought for textbooks to be put in the library, and revamped the structure of the Student Senate and Club Association. I was also nicknamed the “Face of Controversy”.
Law Club
During my time in the law club I helped reform the club that had fallen apart and wrote the new bylaws with input from the board. I assisted with organizing LSAT study sessions and I also served as the Treasurer of the Organization. ARC is noted to be one of the few schools in California with an American Bar Association (ABA) approved curriculum. The Law club supports students striving to become Lawyers or Paralegals.
Republican Club and Students for Life
I was the President of the Republican Club and worked very closely to support the Students for Life Club as a member. During my time as President I raised money to bring my club to the state Convention as well as the Students for life. At this event we handed out baby feet pins to support ending abortion. We had the County Sheriff as one of our many guests at our club meetings as well as speakers from the various parts of our platform. Our events were often noted in the School Newspaper.
